This first-person portrayal by Betsey Means of WomanLore, delves into the introverted and reclusive life of one of the greatest American poets, Emily Dickinson. She wrote poetry of tremendous power, questioning the nature of immortality and death. Through nature and life, Emily was able to glimpse into a mystic dimension beyond worldly distractions. Fewer than a dozen of her nearly 1800 poems were published during her lifetime.
