Hi, I'm Peggy.  I am the Administrative Assistant at the Geneva Public Library.  The Library has several spaces available for studying, meeting, and gathering.  Reservations for our Conference and Group Study Rooms are now available online.  To reserve the Large Meeting Room or Program Room, please contact me at business@gpld.org or call me at 630-232-0780x287.  Please read our meeting room policy to learn more.

Large Meeting Room

Our Large Meeting Room, located on the lower level, has a maximum capacity of 150.

  • Reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance useing your Geneva Public Library card.
  • Depending on equipment and set up required, a minimum of 48 hours may be needed to accomodate your request.

Contact the Business Office, Monday though Friday, 9 AM-5 PM, at 630-232-0780 x287 to reserve this room.

Program Room

Our Program Room, located in the lower level, has a maximum capacity of 24.

  • Reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance using your Geneva Public Library card.
  • The room may be used for up to four hours. Depending on demand, the time may be extended.

Contact the Business Office, Monday though Friday, 9 AM-5 PM, at 630-232-0780 x287 to reserve this room.

Conference Room

Our Conference Room, located in the Information and Reader Services Department, is ideal for small groups of eight to twelve.

  • Reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance using your Geneva Public Library card.
  • Multiple time slots may not be reserved.
  • The room may be used for up to four hours with potential for an extension depending on demand.
  • Late Arrivals & Missed Reservations: Reserved Rooms not used within 15 minutes of booking time will be re-opened and available for others.
  • Walk-ins, including non-Geneva-cardholders, are welcome when the room is not in use or reserved.

Please call the Information and Reader Services Department at 630-232-0780 x230 for more information, or to book a subsequent reservation within 60 days of a prior reservation.

Group Study Room

The Group Study Room, located in the Information and Reader Services Department, is the ideal size for one to seven users.

  • Reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance using your Geneva Public Library card.
  • Multiple time slots may not be reserved.
  • The room may be used for up to two hours with the potential for an extension depending on demand.
  • Late Arrivals & Missed Reservations: Reserved Rooms not used within 15 minutes of booking time will be re-opened and available for others.
  • Walk-ins, including non-Geneva-cardholders, are welcome when the room is not in use or reserved.

Please call the Information and Reader Services Department at 630-232-0780 x230 for more information, or to book a subsequent reservation within 7 days of a prior reservation.

Collaboration Zone

The Collaboration Zone is on the second floor, past the computer work area in Information and Readers Services.  We offer booths for group study, a mobile use bar for individuals, and movable tables and chairs that can be arranged based on your needs.  This area allows groups to meet up and collaborate together on projects or focus on individual work.

MIDDLE GROUND

The Middle Ground is located in Youth Services in the corner behind nonfiction.  This area provides flexible space for students in grades 6-8 with comfortable areas to study, work, and collaborate.  Comfortable seating, movable tables, and spaces for those who want to work alone or in a group are available.  This flexible space can be used for programs and events, as well as for studying or just hanging out.
